Re: Lingfield 28/12 1.40 Lingfield Class 5 handicap with a decent sized field of 14 lining up here, over 7f. Super Frank has a good record on the AW, and Reeling N Rocking has some nice recent form but both have been off the track for too long to be completely confident over. Affrettando is a lto winner but that was in a maiden and will have to show significant improvement to fight out a finish here. Preference is to go EW on: Bertie Southstreet (RPF 10/1) - Good recent form in better races than this, finishing close up in its last 3 starts all at this track, and all over an inadequate 6f. Upped in trip to 7f today, down 1lb in the handicap, drawn well in 7 and down in grade to Class 5 gives this horse a real chance. Very well respected trainer, and good hold up jockey so has lots in its favour. Has been staying on best of all in its starts over 6f so should see this horse come late here. Competitive heat but will be surprised to see this horse start in double figures so I suggest getting on early at anything above 10/1.
