Re: Leicester 28/12 Black De Bessy 2.30 Leicester (EACH WAY) The 2.30 is an interesting race, both Robert Alner and Alan King have good records at this track over the last few years and both have runners in this race. Highland Chief for King has been quite consistent but also been running at a lower level than this class 3, Alner has Black De Bessy and that should interest ew punters. It should be double figure odds tomorrow but has dropped down the handicap to 118, and he has only sent 2 horses here. Stays further than this trip but also effective over this sort of distance, ok at this level and goes on the ground. Carries top weight but is only 6lbs rating above winning mark and can get involved at a nice price. Zirkel 3.35 Leicester (WIN) Defied top weight last time out on soft ground and got off the mark over this 2m trip. Up in weight now for that win and reportedly doesn't like to be crowded and shouldn't have that problem with only 8 runners. Stable had Franchoek and Voy Por Ustedes score yesterday to show that My Way De Solzen was a blip rather than a stable problem. Nike Walker may be the danger but has only won at around class 5 and steps up in class. Hurdles course expected to be soft and the soft ground seemed to suit Zirkel after poor runs on firmer ground.
