Favourite racing moments of the year.

For me my favourite or most memorable moments would be Kauto Star winning the Gold Cup, Dettori winning his first Derby, Dylan Thomas winning the Ark and an old favourite of mine Celtic Mill picking up a nice little sprint at odds of 9/2.

Re: Favourite racing moments of the year. yeah Fallon in the Arc was pretty good for me, partially cus I had money on it but another reason was I never really liked Fallon but sort of got to know him and appreciate why his fans are so loyal to him. I'll never be a big fan of his but I have a respect for him and him winning the Arc was a big 2 fingers up at everyone who didn't like him and who condemned him for race fixing. Whether he did or didn't I couldn't give a shit but as a jockey I hold my hand up and say " yeah dat boy is not bad";) as you mention Frankie getting his Derby and number 3 was the Spencer/Sanders battle that drew even the moderate punter in and did good for the racing world. hats off to both jockeys who took it to the wire with Spencer winning the last ride to draw even. Brilliant.:clap
