Re: Wolverhampton 20/12/07 Ashes could represent a bit of value in the 8.50. Has had a 42-day break after a couple of poor efforts at the end of the main season. Started the season well with a 3rd at Musselburgh and then a win at Wolves over 5f off a mark of 68. Runs off 62 tonight and has bagged the inside draw which is ideal for a horse that likes to race prominently. Has on board 7lbs claimer, Declan Cannon, so effectively 13lbs lower than last win here. Cannon has just had a winner for Karl Burke on Kempton's sand (Angel Voices) so hopefully good value for claim if he keeps it simple and can get Ashes away smartly. Ladbrokes only 10/1 whereas Stan James 25/1. Have backed for a place on Betfair at 8.60 where 32.00 currently available for the win.
