Daily Selections :ok Calgary Bay 3.40 (Each Way) Could be a star but could also be another Harchibald. Travels really well on the bridle and is often cruising through its races but is not finding a lot at the business end. Probably needs to be held on to until the last minute and has a top jockey on board that will not let the horse give up in AP McCoy. Saw this at Uttoxeter and fancied it but it was 2nd, hanging and not holding on. Ran again since and was 2nd again, travelling strongly and many comments about how nice the horse looks, also highly thought of by Hnerietta Knight. Has run on good, good to soft and soft so no ground worries and no concerns over the trip. There will be plenty of support for Snap Tie and I'msingingtheblues but this can't go unnoticed or unbacked. Hard to know what price to expect the night before as the McCoy factor will attract money but the 16-1 expected SP looks too big to me. Needs to improve but more importantly needs to finish its races.

Re: Cheltenham 14/12/07 Cornish Sett 1.20 Cheltenham He ran a good race on less than ideal ground in the Racing Post Chase behind Simon at Kempton, he has experienced over fences won three times, and has won over three miles here. Fitzgerald retains the ride in place of the injured Ruby and any cobwebs would have been blown away from his outing 27 days ago over course. Ivoire De Beaulieu 1.55 Cheltenham Was supposed to go for the cross country at the PP meeting but they left him alone after his cracking run in Czech Rep where he finished 4th in the Pardubicka under Keith Mercer last month. Keith felt that the lack of a run might have just cost him, as he was a bit keen early on. "He´s won over the course and distance and is still capable of winning another of those races." said Ferdy Murphy. He's nice low weight and Keith is back in the saddle. Jack the Giant 2.30 Cheltenham 30lb lower than his chase mark and could well land this on its way back over the fences. Trip no problem and ground should be spot on for a good run. spent all morning looking at my 3 papers/RP/and ATR website did my write up and now just turned on the teletex to find 2 of my 3 tipped up:\
