Valiant23
I know the Kent bunch have bemoaned the lack of facilities down there but I know there is one in Margate (a Circus casino), although I don't know if there is a card room. I do know that there is a G casino opening in Ramsgate in February that will definitely have a card room. I don't know how far it is from the M25/Dartford area but I'd guess even at 60 miles away it may still be quicker than going into London. It might be worth keeping an eye out for events at these places anyway and, given the lack of games available on that side of London I'd imagine it'll be in your interests to support it and help make it successful. heniek31
Re: Card Rooms In (East) Kent Thanks Andy. The casino has £10 rebuy on Monday (usually 30 to 50 ppl) and £20 (x3) on Wednesday (with around 15 to 20 ppl). Some sort of cash games can be arranged while tournament lasts. I heard all that on the phone. Will keep an eye on the new casino :ok.

However the existing casino/card room, is I believe on the seafront, so this does sound like a different one :ok Couldn't find a tour going to Ramsgate :unsure But the manchester one is on Ramsgate Road, so wonder if I misread it before ..... though I really did think it was ramsgate..... heniek31
Re: Card Rooms In (East) Kent Well played Ben. I donked away about 40% of my stack in 1st hand (about which I will write in strategy) and then was struggling. Then at 100/200, there was 3x raise and I pushed all in for 2k with JJ and was called by the raiser with AK. K on the river (which I dealt it myself :lol) and I was a toast. Defo up for next one :ok.
