After Tuesdays games nothing has changed regarding Alba. Alba is in last place, loosing a lot of their games, but they do not play so bad. They signed a finnish forward Sivhonen two weeks ago and start to play something better. They play some extremly defensive system and waitning for counterattacks. I was watching them in their game against Jesenice on Tuesday and they were very danegeorus in first period. Only Jesenice Goalie Hočevar is reason, they did not lead. But Jesenice then scored quick goal in second period and game was then more or less decided. If they scored first, it is extremly hard to play against them. They have solid goaltendig duo in Hetneyi and Budai and have three very solid attackers in Sivhonen, Ocskay and Palkovics, but they lack a little more depth. They lost last game to Linz 2-1 and they surely made some further improvments. They are preparing for play-out games and I am sure that they will be dangerous in those six games. Graz is average team. Much more weaker than Linz IMHO. They have some potential in attack in Ivo Jan and Greg Day and thats all. I expekt a though and low scoring game today as I can not see Graz trashing Alba. They didn't start well and as season progressed, their return was being announced. I avoided jumping on that wagon and rightfully so. Kazan would collect a couple of good performances in the row and then ruin everything by playing awful in the next match. SKA is without a win in last 4 matches (3 losses and 1 OT win). It seems that they are having a bit of crisis and their 2nd place is not so convincing as it was. They are still best away team, but their home performance is not nearly as good as away performance. Kazan won 4 out of last 5 matches. Considering the fact that they have won only once in first 11 away matches, one must say that their away form is much better now (they have two wins in last 4 away matches). Plus, Zinoviev might be back in the team in today's match. I admit, SKA had a better form so far this season, but things have changed in last two weeks. They are as far away from last season's form as possible. They have lost last 3 matches and their last away win was against bottom Asiago. In fact, they have only two away wins this season: against 9th Asiago and 8th Fassa. They are desperate to get out of this rut, but playing offence this badly and the lack of concentration in first two periods need to be addressed. They didn't lose a single 3rd period in away matches so far, but that wasn't enough for gaining much points. Pontebba is having a good time lately: they have lost only to Milano in last 6 matches and lost only two home matches (Milano and Ritten - both teams are at the top of the league). Both, Pontebba and Cortina finish most of their matches within 1 goal margin and this match won't be an exception, but Cortina didn't do much this season to make me believe they could get something out of this match. Third time in a row I'm backing under in a MODO game. Despite their injuries they are good in the defensive but in their attacking has come to a halt and they almost never score more than 2 goals per game. They now stand at a massive 13 games in a row going under 5.5. Djurgården a decent team for unders as well. Lately they have been in decent form but lost big to Luleå away in the last round. They have good goalies and also the last h2h was on saturday and ended 4-1 in Djurgårdens favor. Concerning the home-win I think that Djurgården have an excellent chance again. 4-1 on saturday and MODO have huge trouble with injuries. This is very hard on the remaining players and they don't have the time to recover from the games. Still very important players like Sundström and Timander are inured and these are very important, especially when Wernblom and Svartvadet can't find form. Södertälje @ 2.00 betway, expekt, unibet The home team here in a great trend playing well both at home and away. In the last round they stood up perfectly against on-form team Linköping and only lost to them 4-3 away at Linköping. 7 pts in the last 4 games is good since they had a rough start to the season. Skellefteå have been pretty bad lately and basically only getting points at home. Away they stand at only 4 pts so far which is in line what everyone expect from this team. Now wins and only 1 pt in the last 5 away games says alot. With the rising form of Södertälje I consider home-win a good option. Linköping +0.5 @ 1.80 (50%) and dnb @ 2.35 (50%) Timrå-LHC under 5.5 @ 1.83 bet365 I had this exact bet last week and it went very well since Linköping won 6-2 in Timrå which is very strong and they have been in fantastic form with 19 pts in the last 7 games which basically means wins all the way for these guys. Timrå finding themselves in bad form at the moment with only 6 pts in 7 games winning at home over HV71 and also 2-1 in the derby against MODO. I value this game like I did when I bet on Linköping last time, the only difference is that Linköping have continued their nice form and Timrå have continued with their bad form. Last game I also bet on under 5.5 but I didn't think LHC would score 6 goals in that game so I'm going for the under 5.5 once more. Mora - HV71 Under 5.5 @ 1.83 bet365 Looks like a good bet on the away win here but HV71 haven't had it exactly easy with Mora when playing them in Mora. For the most part Mora have good defense at home and I think that HV71 will have to struggle to win here, if they win I don't think it will be a big win. Mora have 7/10 unders lately and HV71 only 4/10. It all changes a bit if you look at HV71's away games where they have 4/5 under 5.5. One h2h in Mora this season which ended 3-2. This will be interesting match with both teams giving 110% and impossible to predict for me. Alleghe and Val Pusteria will probably score a lot, but the odds at 1.86 for over 6 goals are way to low, so I'll skip it. These two met just twoo weeks ago in Trondheim, result 0-6. Since then Trondheim have collected two points at home, won 3-2 after o.t. vs Comet, but after that they fell back to their usual poor form and lost 0-2 away vs Furuset, a team that must be considered among the weakest teams in the league. Vålerenga mix high and low as usual, for some reason they can't get their game to work at home, lost 3-4 vs Stavanger the latest match, before that they won 5-3 vs Frisk/Asker away, a very impressing result that also shows the big difference between home and away for Vålerenga. I don't think this hcp will be too high, Vålerenag have proved to be very reliable in these kind of matches, they usually deliver wins with at least a three goal margin, only Lillehammer appears to have a clue how to stop Vålerenga's scoring machine. Mora - HV71 under 5.5 goals @ 1.95 Pinnacle Hometeam Mora have scored 7 goals their last five matches, 23 goals in 11 homematches, 7 of those ended under, 7/10 latest matches under. Mora were totally toothless vs Brynäs when they lost 0-1, fired three shots in the first period. HV the best team in Elitserien, they do have great attacking power, but when they are on the road they aren't that highscoring: 35 goals in 11 matches, six of them ended under, 4/5 latest awaymatches ended under.Imo HV will win this match, but odds are for that are low and I don't dare hcp. I like the under better, I honestly doubt that Mora will score even one goal, so that leaves a nice margin for HV to score a few without this line getting passed. Lillehammer - Comet under 6 goals @ 1.87 Pinnacle Lillehammer dont score or allow many at home, 4-1-5 23-21 their record, out of ten matches 8 ended under this line, one push and only one over. Comet away: 2-5-3 27-31, 7/10 matches under, the overs was vs goalhappy teams Sparta and Vålerenga and vs Stavanger in the first match of the season. Comet have now played nine matches in a row under, I see no reason to why they would change the gameplan they have, their roster is solid but without edge in the attacking lines. Lillehammer have only scored two goals their last three matches, albeit vs strong opposition, but nevertheless a sign of them haveing some trouble in the scoring department. A very even matchup, under I have to say. Stjernen v Furuset under 6 goals @ 1.87 Pinnacle Stjernen at home: 3-3-5 21-33, 7 under, two push and only one match over this line. Furuset away: 2-1-6 19-31, five under, two push and two over. I find a very good angle for under apart from the amount of matches that ended under when I look at the two teams unability to score: Stjernen have scored 1.90 goals in average, Furuset 2.1 in average, I find it hard to see who's going to score enough for this line to fail, especially since neither team have a very bad goals against average: Stjernen three and Furuset 3.4. Another even matchup with too many angles for under to look away from. Djurgården - Modo under 5.5 goals @ 1.80 Bet365 Modo have now played 13 matches under this line in a row, thats reason enough for me. Modo, despite the win last match, under pressure to collect more points, they will keep playing the same defensive minded kind of game. Djurgården's homestats speaks strongly for under aswell: 8/11 matches under, so this is a match between two very underish teams with bad form and a need for points. Södertälje dnb @ 1.63 Pinnacle Skellefteå are in the middle of a crizis atm, 0-1-6 their record the last seven matches, they were up 2-0 at home vs Färjestad last match, but could not hold on to their lead and lost 2-4. Södertälje's form the opposite: 2-1-2 last five, lost 3-4 away to linköping, but they were actually robbed by the ref when he disallowed a perfectly good 4-4 goal. I find a very good value in this odds, Skellefteå winless away and Södertälje should have a very good chance of winning this match, I choose dnb cause Södertälje's poor goalscoring record worries me somewhat. Rödovre are very reliable when it comes to winning vs the weaker teams, they do that with a margin, but when they face Herning, Sönderjyske and Aab it looks like they still lack that edge to be able to really compete, they have lost all six matches vs those three teams this season, the matches vs Aab, home and away, was very close ones and both games went to o.t. I think that this dnb line for Aab holds a really decent value, considering the above reasons and Aab's homerecord: 6-4-0. Björklöven @ 2.00 Bet365 Almtuna will miss at least eight players for this match, also their best and mor importan player, defender Ragnarsson, questionable. Almtuna's nothing special to begin with, I would have given Björklöven a good chance under normal conditions, the odds is sinking like a stone, but at evens there's still a decent value left. I decided for because there's no doubt in my mind that Herning's the best team in Denmark atm, their record for the last seven matches: 6-1-0, the first win in this streak after o.t. he other five wins with two goals or more. Totempo have won their last two matches, 3/5 latest, but it's one thing to beat poor hometeam Odense, overall weak team Herlev and Fredrikshavn when they were in the middle of a very bad streak, now they face a team who they can't compete with in terms of quality players in the roster, efficiency in overall attacking and powerplay, goalkeeping, etc. Herning won the previous awaymatch this season, 4-1, but lost at home 2-5. The loss came in the very begiining of the season, when Herning were merely a shade of the team they are now. Let me just add Herning's awayrecord 6-4-0 and Totempo's homerecord 4-0-5. Nybro have only scored ten goals their last five matches, 2/5 under, but the overs was 4-3 vs Hammarby with the weakest defence in Allsvenskan, 2-4 and 2-7 vs Malmö and Rögle, two teams that are far better than Huddinge in every possible way. Nybro's goaldifference at home: 34-34 from eleven matches, they have only scored six goals their last four homematches. a very even matchup imo, Huddinga are still underrated, and with the defensive quality they possess atm I doubt that this match will be highscoring. 6/10 EfB v Nordsjælland u 6 goals @ 2.00 Bet365 Two lowscoring teams in this matchup: Efb have scored 20 goals in nine homegames, Nordsjaelland 25 goals in ten awaygames. We have here a match-up of two very good goaltenders. Kristan vs. Divis. Jesenice has second best defence in league and they are really do not allow a lot of goals. Their attack is weaker part of team and one very important player, Markus Matthiasson will not play today(best goalscorer of this team). Jurij Goličič is also very important attacker and he is also very questionable for todays game. I think Jesenice will have some problems in attack today.On the other side Salzburg will be also missing two very important players Trattnig and Pewal and will also has a problems to score goals against Kristan and good Acroni defence...
