Best bets to do?

right on the same lines of the value thread can you give pro's and con's for different types of bets. I know a few of you will say singles are the way to go but I cant often bet singles due to being busy all day and not able to bet 1 then bet 2 then bet 3. I'll have £xx.xx and decide either to do L15 L31 or even L63 bearing in mind that Coral give treble the odds for 1 winner, but lately ive been doing £1.00 doubles on my 4-5-6 selections or even trebles just so the maximum stake is on the selection rather than 20p 40p etc. What types of bets do you do given the fact you have 4, 5 or 6 selections for the day

This is the biggest dilemma of any punter - the staking plan. I will be honest, I am crap! when it comes to discipline. I used to always back patents, lucky 15's & 31's. Then realised i had some nice winners but nothing to show for it as a single 20/1 winner gets you double the odds but 40/1 at small stakes is not good enough. I have been backing singles more & more & i believe this is the way forward however it must be with level stakes i.e why have a tenner on a 2/1 shot & then £3 on a 20/1 winner!! If you level out the stakes, i am sure you will see the benefits at the end. As for 5 or 6 selections, that is another problem. I feel the best way forward now is to narrow your selections down to 2 or 3 a day maximum. Then stake it as win singles & cover off some small doubles/trebles i.e £30 staked 3 horses singles @ £8 each = £24 3 doubles & 1 trebles @ £1.50 each = £6 that way you get a decent return & cover off if you manage 3 winners:ok
