A little late with this thread thanks to the footy but it's here nevertheless. A 3 test series between India and Pakistan starts at 4am.

I'll have a couple of outrights. 6pts India to win Test Series 5/6 Boylesports Both these sides come into this series with inexperienced captains. Shoaib Malik captains Pakistan for the 2nd series while it's Anil Kumble's 1st series in charge of India. India's home form is very good. Only Australia have been to India and won a test series since the turn of the century while Pakistan come into this match off the back of a 2-0 home defeat against South Africa. India, with the likes of Laxman and Dravid back in their side have a whole depth of batting talent which could well be where Pakistan's problems lie with the retirement of Inzamam leaving a huge hole in their middle order. Such is India's batting strength they have been able to leave out Yuvraj Singh. Pakistan probably have the stronger bowling lineup but spin will be key and India have 3 proper spinners and could also field Tendulkar and Yuvraj so the spin option is covered. Mohammad Asif has been ruled out of the series with an elbow injury but RP Singh and Sreesanth are out of the 1st test so Pakistan may just have the edge in the pace bowling but on home soil I think India will be triumphant here. 4pts M.Yousuf Top Pakistan Series Batsman 11/8 Stan James Mohammad Yousuf is quite simply a run machine and has been for the last 2-3 years or so. He top scored in the ODI series between these two earlier this month so we know he's in excellent form and once he gets in in a test match he can be a real pain in the arse to get out and loves to score big tons. Pakistan's batting let them down against South Africa but with Yousuf back in as the glue it should fare better. I can't see anyone outscoring Yousuf though unless Younis Khan lights up but over 6 innings I'd fancy Yousuf to beat him.

3 for me. 10pts M.Dhoni's Performance Pts 94&Over 5/6 Bet365 Points are scored as follows: 1pt per run, 10pts per catch & 25pts per stumping. Mahendra Singh Dhoni had a terrific series with the bat in the ODI's against Pakistan and on turning pitches should go well in this series too. No pitch will turn more than this one will at Delhi and I think the Indian wicket keeper will get some runs on this deck. He could well cover this total in one hit but as a wicket keeper he's likely to be kept busy behind the stumps. India are definitely playing 2 spinners and a 3rd could be included so stumpings aren't out of the question, especially with the attacking nature of the Pakistan batsmen. Catches behind should come his way throughout the course of the match too and with a combination of his bat and his gloves I think he'll notch 94pts. 10pts S.Tendulkar 61+ Runs 11/8 Blue Square (1st Inns Only) Sachin Tendulkar was at times in the ODI series quite brilliant and I'm sure he'll want to bring that form into this series. He bats in the middle order in test matches so it's less likely he'll be facing the new ball which would be the trickiest time to bat on this Delhi wicket. He plays spin well as he showed in the way he played Afridi in that ODI series which should negate the Kaneria threat a bit and with the form he arrives in he's sure to look to score big. He's got 2 1st innings tons behind him in his 6 tests here at Delhi and with Pakistan's attack looking a bit weak I think he'll go past 60 here. 5pts D.Kaneria Top Pakistan Wicket Taker 6/4 Stan James (1st Inns Only) Danish Kaneria looks to be the biggest threat to the Indian batsmen. Umar Gul and Mohammad Asif have been ruled out which means their attack could well consist of Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, Sohail Tanvir and Kaneria. Sami and Tanvir don't look to have the pace to really threaten on these slow wickets and Akhtar may well be used in short spells. Kaneria will have the larger workload and on a turning pitch he looks a good price to take the most wickets 1st time around.
