Classy Plays - Great River Calls

Are you particularly proud of the way you played a hand? Is it a text book example to others of how to make a great call on the river? Then post the hand history and thoughts and let us see :ok We dont care about results - whether you win or lose the hand is of no significance, whether you make money/chips or lose, makes no difference to the strength of your play - we dont want your bad beats here ;) Note: By posting your hand here you are inviting feedback, analysis and comment from others

Re: Classy Plays - Great River Calls Ok this if you take it on face value, is awful looking lol. But, the villain here had a vpip of 70.83% and a flop AF of 2.4, turn of 3.2 and river of 5.5. So I new for him to just be calling me down, he wasn't strong, as the hands I'd played against me he would always make a raise if he had hit somewhere and test my c-bets, but he did call down with draws and bluff if he missed a lot, explaining his high river aggression factor. Also in this hand, if he hits an 8 on the flop he raises, possibly with a 7 too, same on the turn, as he knows I c-bet a lot. I know he isn't checking both the flop and turn with a made hand. Then on the river the board pairs, perfect for one of his bluffs, he bets the pot, I don't see why he would be betting the pot with a full house here, because he would be losing value. I imagine this could be a split, he could have been drawing, or he could have a low enough pair, pocket or not, for my A to be the best hand. And I think I could be at least splitting about the 33% this would need to be profitable. It's not pretty but it worked! Maybe I shouldn't have checked the turn, but I wasn't completely sure, but his pot bets on the river I know were often bluffs.
