Re: t6poker - freerolls on a new site launching soon Google searching for ''T6Poker scam'' gives a few forums, but all in languages I don't read (i.e. NOT English), so can't even read the so called translated pages. Any regular poker player can see that this site stinks...there is just the bare bones there...just enough to attract the backers I suppose. I too have ''earned'' a few euro but I am sure we are all now aware that we ain't going to be able to cash any of it in.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

T6Poker Teams Up with Gaming Software Giant T6Poker to Switch to New Software Based on CyberArts Foundation Gaming Software Platform

Online poker operator T6poker has announced they will be replacing their current software infrastructure with new software built on San Francisco-based CyberArts’ Foundation gaming software platform. Within days after pre-launching T6poker.com and T6poker.net, T6poker officials have decided to make this bold move to insure their service’s stability and scalability well into the future as they gear up for their official launch on January 1, 2008. CEO and Sole shareholder Torben Hübertz said, “We are very serious about creating one of the premier independent online poker sites in the world. To do this, we must have the best. Despite all the testing of our present software, now that we have implemented it, we have found it to be inadequate for the number of players we anticipate. We need a customizable software powerhouse that will handle larger numbers of players with impeccable stability and allow us to rapidly develop new features. After an extensive search, we have decided to go with the CyberArts Foundation gaming software platform. This will allow us to have the world’s most advanced gaming software for T6poker and our players.” T6poker.com offers European poker enthusiasts industry-leading services and the opportunity to pit their skills against players from their own countries as well as thousands of others from around the world who take part in T6poker’s daily tournaments. With our new powerful software capabilities, we will also be able to offer white label poker rooms to serious companies. From a marketing perspective this will make us very competitive with industry leaders as we will be able to offer state-of-the-art branded poker solutions. It will give us the possibility to build a strong brand with our affiliates and partners.” Between now and their official launch on January 1, 2008, T6poker officials and technicians will be working very closely with their counterparts at CyberArts to insure the new system is in place and ready for when their cash games begin. As they move forward together, T6poker officials are extremely confident they will be able to build one of the biggest and fastest growing online poker networks. CEO, Torben Hübertz further stated, “We have made a commitment to our players, affiliates and partners to excel in the online poker industry, not just today, but for a long time to come. This investment in the CyberArts Foundation software platform, customized exactly to our needs, will insure we can keep our word.” Said CyberArts chairman Ken Arnold, "We're honored to have been chosen as T6's exclusive software provider. T6 is aggressively building one of the biggest pools of poker players in online gaming history. The CyberArts Foundation software platform ensures fast, stable game play no matter how many thousands of people are playing - without crashing. T6 and CyberArts make a great team, and the player wins." About CyberArts Licensing Privately-held CyberArts is the developer of Foundation™, the most technically advanced software platform for online gaming operators. It is the only fully licensable platform.

Have you tried withdrawing yet? (Though if I was them and I was scamming, I'd let some small withdrawals through to gain some confidence....)

Re: t6poker - freerolls on a new site launching soon The PokerNews Interview: T6 Poker's Torben Hubertz January 02, 2008 PokerNews Staff 477a7ab651cab.jpg Among the newest online poker sites to make its presence known is T6 Poker. Under the leadership of its founder, Torben Hubertz, T6 Poker has quickly jumped from the gate, offering a specialized lineup of games catering to a young, aggressive player base. PokerNews sat down with Hubertz for a founder's-eye peek into one of the freshest poker sites on the Web: PokerNews: Let's start with you. Tell us a little about your background. Torben Hubertz: I am 31 years old. I worked several years in the insurance industry as an insurance advisor. I have always been an entrepreneur. I have several businesses within the IT sector - development, security, ad3.gifad4.gif design, etc…. PN: What caused you to go from insurance to the Web? TH: Hmm, good question... I don't really know. I suppose I am always exploring new opportunities and I just kind of fell in love with Web development and using my creative side. I love building up new stuff see it grow and looking at a particular industry and doing it different than everyone else. PN: So, you started your own poker site? TH: Yes, I am the owner. Actually, I think it's an interesting point to make. With most online poker sites, finding out who owns it can be an impossible process. If you go to the 'About Us' page on T6 Poker, you will see that I am listed as the owner. I think with any business, it's important to know ultimately who is running things. I wanted to be very open about this fact from day one. PN: So, where did the idea of T6 Poker come from? TH: I love aggressive poker, and I wanted to make a place that promotes it - a place where people could learn to play what I call 'real poker'. So, all tables and all tournaments are six-handed at T6 Poker – that's why the name 'T6' – tables of six. PN: Do you play a lot of six-handed yourself? TH: Yes. I want to make a place online that focuses a lot on sending people to live tournaments. Real poker is live, but you need online to practice and to learn the game. So I plan on sending a lot of players to live tournaments won on T6 Poker and hopefully we will be able to build a really big site with a lot of aggressive poker being played. PN: You played in the Main Event last year, correct? Tell us what that experience was like. TH: Yes, I have played the WSOP Main Event the last two years. I haven't met with much success, but both times were great experiences. PN: You come from an entrepreneurial background. How can you differentiate T6 in a very crowded market – any special focus for that? TH: Well, we have done it a bit different from others. We have a budget for advertising and guaranteed tournaments much higher than most other sites. We have done, so far, 200 fully branded taxis in Scandinavia with T6 Poker. We also have about 600 full-page ads in almost all poker magazines and newspapers throughout Europe. We will also build a big team of pro poker players that will be playing at the big live tournaments all over the world, and we have teamed up with an affiliate marketing company that has 10,000-15,000 people that will help us find customers also. PN: Most of the heat seems to be in Europe at the moment with online poker. Is that the market you will focus on primarily? TH: Yes, we want to build a big site with a main focus on Europe. All the players we have signed so far are from Europe, also. We have teamed up with Cyber Arts, who will provide the software. We have €3 million in guaranteed tournaments every month, including our six-handed PLO Omaha tournament every Sunday, which carries a €50,000 guarantee with a buy-in of only €55. We also have a €250,000 guaranteed every Sunday at 21:00 GMT. This is a no-limit hold'em tournament with a €165 buy-in. We also will have €10,000, €20,000, and €30,000 guaranteed tournaments daily, all with a €55 buy-in. PN: Tell us about 'Team T6', and what you hope to achieve from that. TH: Well, there are three powerful ways to advertise: 1) online; 2) offline; and 3) word of mouth. We want to be in it all. I think we will get a lot of branding thru offline marketing, but our customers will come from online efforts. 'Team T6' will bring us commitment and stability. PN: Give us one goal for 2008 for T6 Poker. TH: To become the poker site people think of when they think of aggressive and short-handed poker.

Re: t6poker - freerolls on a new site launching soon Received by email this morning: Dear Poker Player, First of all we want to thank you for joining T6POKER We are pleased to inform you that from January 2, 2008 you have been able to make deposits and withdrawals from T6poker. On the website and in the Poker client you will find a list of available processors. We are continuously working on adding new processors to make it easier for our customers. T6poker is committed to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) rules. Know Your Customer is the due diligence and bank regulation that financial institutions and other regulated companies must perform to identify their clients and ascertain relevant information pertinent to doing financial business with them. Know Your Customer policies have becoming increasingly important globally to prevent identify theft fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing. One aspect of KYC checking is to verify that the customer is not on any list of known fraudsters, terrorists or money launders. This KYC process is mandatory for all T6poker players, however it is easy for you to verify your identity. All you need to do is make a minimum initial deposit to your poker account in T6poker using any of the displayed processors. The identification process will take place as you make the deposit, and you are hereafter free to make any withdrawals. Withdrawals will be handled in less then 72 hours.

Re: t6poker - freerolls on a new site launching soon I signed up to this site today and can say that the software is crap but running smoothly. I dont know what kind it is as I have never seen it before. I used my free tourney money and won 375 euros. I have filled in all the card verification details and e-mailed them back to them. Lets hope my withdrawal goes through. If it does then I would advise people to play there as the standard is "great". :unsure:unsure I am currently on a table with t6tonyg ????

I just spoke to them, you need to download the new platform, as the old one is shite! All funds will be transferred over I have about 180 in winnnings and there are loads of good value torneys you can play with funds you won
Did you get your funds transferred over Joe? I had €118 in the old software which they told me would be transferred over but it appears only €59 has found its way across. I contacted Live support and this is the transcript:
Michelle Vasquez: Support, How may I assist you today? Michelle Vasquez: Support, How may I assist you today? Spencer Jago: Hi there, I have just logged in and checked my balance and I have €59 Spencer Jago: but on the old software i had €118 Spencer Jago: I was told it was all being transfered acrosss Spencer Jago: is it being done in stages? Michelle Vasquez: OK, Let me check your account please, May I have your user name? Spencer Jago: spannerj Michelle Vasquez: You have €59.4400 Spencer Jago: yes thats right Michelle Vasquez: And we already gave the customers money from december freerolls Spencer Jago: but before i transferred over to the new software my balance was 118 Spencer Jago: what has happened to the other 59? Spencer Jago: hello? are you there? Michelle Vasquez: Yes im here Michelle Vasquez: I'm checking your account Spencer Jago: ah ok Spencer Jago: thanks Michelle Vasquez: If you have any prove of the tournament you won on december freerolls send it by email at [email protected] because we are not able to see the old client. Spencer Jago: so if you cant see the old client how did you arrive at a figure of €59? Spencer Jago: I don't have any proof of my finishes as I didn't think I required it. Michelle Vasquez: I wrote that you have on this account (new client) €59 Michelle Vasquez: If you do not have that information there is no way for us to give you the money Spencer Jago: yes but i haven't deposited any money on the new software yet Spencer Jago: i was told on a previous help session that my balance would be transferred over Spencer Jago: as when i downloaded the new software my balance was 0 Spencer Jago: that €59 has come from somewhere and it wasn't from my deposit Spencer Jago: either you have just given me €59 for nothing or it has been transferred from the old software and if it has been transferred why wasnt it all transferred? Michelle Vasquez: Based on the december freerolls Michelle Vasquez: There is just €59 on your account Spencer Jago: Well I had €118. I don't have any proof of that but I would expect a poker site to be able to manage the finances. I was about to deposit some more but I am now not convinced that I want to play on the site if they are unable to look after my balance correctly! Michelle Vasquez: Well Sir, that will be the procedures, you need prove in order for us to give you the money Spencer Jago: I shouldnt need proof. Thats what I'm saying. I have no proof of my balances at any of the other sites I play on but then they dont go losing my money! I think I will choose to play elsewhere and I will be writing to all the poker magazines that you have placed adverts with to inform them of the farce that is T6 poker. Spencer Jago: Enjoy the inevitable liquidation that is coming your way. Spencer Jago: Thanks for you help :) Michelle Vasquez: You are welcome :)
Needless to say I wont be playing there they can keep their euros and stick the freerolls up their arse.

Re: t6poker - freerolls on a new site launching soon SpannerJo... I still have the old software on my PC and it shows my previous winnings... would this help to claim your money back? I intend to send a screen dump to them and see what happens. Also, does anybody know how to use your tournament chips (T$) rather than your winnings to play? I can't seem to but assume there must be way?

Cheers Tweety, Still had the old software on my PC so I have sent them a screenshot. Lets see what happens. I think the tourney chips can be used on Sit and Gos rather than MTTs.

Yeah i sent a screenshot, still waiting the torney tokens are for sit and gos, the ones you can use them start at 9 euros and have a T next to them mate
Not had any reply from T6 as yet. Not a good sign but I suppose as this is early doors I can give them some lee-way. Jo - how did your withdrawal go? Any luck yet? Will have another go with the tourney tokens... I'm sure I tried all the SNG Step tourneys but it kept taking cash instead of tokens. Probably just me! :$

Re: t6poker - freerolls on a new site launching soon Well what a nice start to the day.Deposited €20 via Netteller 2 days ago so I could withdraw my balance and it's arrived in my Netteller account today:nana My balance was only about half of what it should have been,€102 instead of €200. Only thing I can think is why it was like that was that in the early tourneys no matter where you finished you were being credited with Euro's,maybe they've took this off. So a successful cash out with no need to give my details to them.:ok If it wasn't for Netteller us Terrorists wouldn't be able to cash out;)
