20071121Hex124005.pngFind Me 12.40 Hexham E/W Len Lungo is the leading trainer here in recent years and has a 37.50%SR inthe last 12months here. He brings just the 1 today after having a hat ful of declerations a few days ago and at 20/1 he might just be worth a few points on his hurdling debut, he's run on the Flat for Mark Johnston. Early Price: 20/1 20071121Hex144004.pngPoker De Sivola 2.40 Hexham Ferdy Murphy's raider is 2 from 2 starts here, 1 over 2mile1f and the other over todays 2m5f. Hes won 50% of his starts for both Timmy Murphy and todays pilot G.Lee and has won 3 of his last 4 starts on GF to Soft so he's quite versatile with the ground. Only 2lb up in the ratings he should land this. Early Price: 5/2

Re: Hexham 21/11 1.40 I am trying to make a case here to lay the favourite, the trends are against it with 5 of the 6 runnings of this race going to 4 or 5yo's. The ground is bottomless so would you take 4/7 against a horse that clearly ran above its class at Cheltenham & Aintree. I am suggesting an alternative in Andytown trained by Nicky Richards who will relish the heavy ground (bred by Old Vic). Its 12/1 with most firms & Richards has a reasonable record at this track with 21% SR over hurdles. Recommendation Lay Tot o Whiskey @ 1.68 Betfair Back Andytown ew @ 12/1 Stan james
