Lancaster
Re: Croatian 1 HNL 10-11/11 2007-11-10 Zadar - Cibalia Two neighbours on the table meeting. Zadar welcomes Cibalia who was flying high recently but got grounded with two defeats in a row. First they lost against Dinamo at home with 2:1 result(Cibalia had penalty for 2:2 equaliser but missed) and on wednesday they were defeated in 1st leg Cup match with 4:0 result by Varteks in Varazdin. They lacked tactical responsibility which practically threw them out of Cup competition as there are very little chances that they could defeat Varteks in 2nd leg with 5:0 result. Zadar in also downtrend lately winning only one point from last five (0-1-4) but they had really tough schedule in those five matches(Dinamo at home and Hajduk, Rijeka, Sibenik & Inter Away). For Zadar defender Parmakovic(important) and midfielder Milin(important) are out while for Cibalia GK Burcsa, defender Zora, midfielders Maroslavac and Medvid, all important, are sidelined. Both teams already met in Vinkovci where Zadar took all three points(2:0 for the guests). IMO this match is a good one for Zadar to end bad streak they had in last five matches. Coach Zebic is announcing agressive approach to the game and I think Zadar can defeat guests who will be probably tired from their midweek cup game. Home win, medium stakes. Pick: H, Odds: 2.00, Stake: 5, Bookmaker: Skybet
Lancaster
Re: Croatian 1 HNL 10-11/11 2007-11-10 Sibenik - Inter Basically all facts I mentioned about Zadar - Cibalia match could be applied to this match. Therefore this preview won't be long. Just like Zadar, Sibenik is also in downtrend lately, without a win in last five (0-2-3) and they are welcoming Inter, who played 1st leg cup game in Split taking relatively positive result (2:1 for Hajduk) out of that game. Sibenik played good game against Slaven in last round but obviously, lately luck is not on their side. Anyway, I think Sibenik can win this one since Inter is not so good traveller (1-0-6) and there's also a tiredness factor that Inter players could probably feel from midweek cup match. Iftic for Inter and Batur for Sibenik are sidelined, both important. Home win, small to medium stakes. Pick: H, Odds: 1.91, Stake: 4, Bookmaker: Skybet
Lancaster
Re: Croatian 1 HNL 10-11/11 Other matches: Varteks - Slaven: Varteks in form lately, they thrashed Cibalia with 4:0 result in midweek cup game. Slaven was free of duty since their cup match with Dinamo was postponed due to Dinamo's UEFA Cup match vs Basel. This one is hard to predict, it could go to all three directions, but if I have to choose, I would try draw. Hajduk - Medjimurje: Home win, high stakes. Low odds, but good combo material. Anything but home win would be BIG suprise. Rijeka - Zagreb: Probably a home win, but odds simply suck. I wouldn't touch it below 1.65. Zagreb playing unstable but they aren't that bad. They are IMO 4th-5th position material. Dinamo - Osijek: Sunday match, home win, high stakes. Another combo material. Osijek is good hard working team but they always play under handbrake in Zagreb. Camino
Re: Croatian 1 HNL 10-11/11 wtf is going on with Hajduk ??! they draw at home with Medimurje .....the weakest team in the league.......
Lancaster
Re: Croatian 1 HNL 10-11/11 Yeah, horrible results yesterday. Only Rijeka nicked that win in 90th minute with good help from referee. Hajduk's defence looks like joke. At 3:3 result they missed about 4 or 5 very good chances. But with irresponsible play they didn't deserve more than one point yesterday. If you have Real player or RealAlternative you can watch here all reports from games that were played yesterday: http://sport.hrt.hr/htvsport/nogomet/2007_2008/sezona.html Just click on yellow link 'izvještaj' for the 16th round.
