It's been a while since I last posted but thought I'd return with this... The idea is to pick out horses, generally short priced ones that should be winning their races but instead of putting them on to win, betting on them to place. This is something i've done in the past, reasonably successful at the time. I'm going to start with a fresh £10 entered into my betfair account today and bet at 20% of the bank. Quite aggressive but for this to work I'll expect a very high strike rate, over 90%. Bet No1. Newcastle 14.10 Kiwi Bay to be placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Stake £2 @ 1.30
