Moselle Open Outright: Very tricky wide open event, searching the draw trying to find some value. G CANAS @ 9/1 Coral e/w Form went a bit backwards a bit towards the end of the summer, he didn't play in September so will very fresh & ready for this tournament. Had some great hard court form earler this year getting to final of Miami Masters, beat Federer twice. Should beat Monfils in 1st round as the frenchman plays like a complete mess most of the time and Canas quarter does look quite easily & could run into form again at the right time for the two late european masters events. I ANDREEV @ 25/1 Betfred e/w In 2nd quarter of draw & dangerous, has not win title for some time, but did get to quarters of New Haven in Aug losing 3rd set tiebreak to Karlovic so a bit unlucky there, lost a 5 set epic against Lopez in US Open ^ Lopez gave Federer a proper scare later in that tournament , also Andreev beat Kohlscreiber & Haas in Davis Cup only two weeks ago, albeit on clay but at least it shows he is in form. G SIMON @ 25/1 Coral e/w Won his last tournament on clay 3 weeks ago & also won Marseille on indoor hard french court earlier this year and intrestinly this is another french hard indoor court and being french he may get inspired here like before.. Got to quarters of new Haven on hard as well so it looks like he has a good game for this surface and is playing full of confidence right now.

Re: Tennis - (Moselle Open, Japan Open) Gicquel to win versus Florent Serra for me. Gicquel beat his french mate last year in the same place 2-0 in the quarter final 6-4 and 7-5. Serra retired at last versus Korolev in Romania (10-09-07). Don´t know if he´s fit but not fit enough to beat Gicquel.Serra with 10 first round outs in this season, 10 second round outs and 2 three round defeats.It´s not his best year. Gicquel looks better and for me it´s no doubt that Gicquel is the better frenchman in this game. Gicquel to win versus Serra :ok
