bowles10
So its the last day of the month, is it worth trying a big priced winner to oust the runaway leader
bowles10
Re: Daily Naps Sunday 30/09 2.00 IBN KHALDUN won an easy maiden at leicster last time out. Has Group 1 entires & the boys in blue expect great things of this horse. Typically, will it be a good day for them or not. Dettori has the edge here on this track & knows when to go for that finish. Should win albeit around 2/
mowgli77
Re: Daily Naps Sunday 30/09 Ask 3.45 Ascot Looks like a 2 horse race to me between Honolulu and Ask. One has just come out of a race in the Leger and the other has been off with injury. Ask's for from the 2006 Leger looks pretty solid and it also beat Scorpion at Chester. Reportedly been working well on the gallops and Stoute has his decent horses in good form. Ryan Moore takes the ride and should get a decent tune out of the horse today. WoodyTHFC
Re: Daily Naps Sunday 30/09 Asc 3.45 As a few of you know, Zaham 1 pt win (risky) is one of my favourite horses at the moment and imo has a decent chance today and at a better price than normal at currently 10/1. Its hard campaign is something of a concern as it may well catch up and prevent the improvement needed to land this but the key for me is stepping up in trip. Its front running tactics last time saw the horse outpaced LTO at a crucial stage but by the furlong pole it was running on again to suggest a step up in trip could be required. The other main contenders have better form but Honolulu whilst talented looks a tricky ride especially for Holland who would not know the horse, Ask may need the run and Laverock does not win much so Zaham at 10/1 could well be in the 3 and may surprise. RussP
Re: Daily Naps Sunday 30/09 3.10 Ascot 13 runners lining up for this Class 2 handicap over a mile and a half. Ladies Best and Rampallion dominate the market but preference is for: Lake Poet (16/1 Ladbrokes) - this horse finished half a length behind Rampallion lto but is now 3 times the price, I can't understand why. Has been super form this term but 2 disappointing runs on paper last twice. Lto, I believe small field worked against this horse whilst ran ok the time before in the Ebor against some very well treated rivals when not getting the best of runs. Jockey didn't too much on it once he knew it was beaten. Races at best trip, is capable in this class and won't mind cut in the ground. I also like the jockey booking of Jimmy Fortune today and believe 16/1 is way too big a price. 0.5pts EW
