Super League Play Offs 28th & 29th Sept

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd start a thread for this weekends playoffs. Tonight's playoff is St Helens vs Leeds and tomorrows is Hull vs Wigan. One word can describe Leeds' season so far - Inconsistent. One week the Rhinos can win at Saints and the next they can be beaten at home to Wakefield. I really can't decide which way to go on this one. On one hand, the money seems to be going on Leeds at the moment, but I can't bring myself to back them at just 2/1 on the outright. And with St Helens missing Sean Long and Maurie Fa'asavalau I can see them struggling to pull away from Leeds to cover what looks like a 6-8 point handicap. At the moment it's looking like a 0.5pt on the First & Last Tryscorers, and Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow have a decent enough record in the last couple of matches between these two sides. Anyone having any other bets on tonight as I'm firmly on the fence on this one and wouldn't need a big push to fall off! Bet as its stands: 0.5pt E/W Rob Burrow First Tryscorer @ 14/1 Bet365 (E/W 1/4 Odds, 1-2-3-4) GL Everyone...:hope

Re: Super League Play Offs 28th & 29th Sept I'm absolutely all over Leeds tonight. Playoff footy, kicks are important and Saints have no Long. That's worth a converted try on it's own so I'm having my regular 10pts on Leeds +8 at Bet Direct. Can't elaborate further as I'm in a rush but I'm very confident Leeds will stay within this handicap.
