Right let's get the ball rolling as I'm taking my life in my own hands and going to Bradford tomorrow night so won't be on here :lol. 4pts India to win ODI Series 6/4 Boylesports India are a big price to win this series given it's in their own backyard and they've not long played plenty of one day cricket in England. Add to that of course the bouyance of their success in the Twenty20 world cup. It's a different India to the one England beat though. Mahendra Singh Dhoni now has control of the side and the pressure is sure to be on with the Indian public now expecting big things. But one thing I like about MSD is his attitude on the cricket field. He enjoys his cricket and encourages his teammates to do the same which is good. Australia have a few injury problems. Ricky Ponting will miss at least the 1st 3 ODI's with his hamstring injury while Mr Cricket, Mike Hussey won't play a part in the series. Shane Watson is another who won't feature so Australia are a bit depleted in their 1st 50 over run out since the world cup final. I think India will be very confident and being the underdogs can approach the series with nothing to lose. Dhoni has taken to captaincy like a duck to water and with Ganguly, Tendulkar, Dravid and Zaheer back his side looks very good indeed. This has all the makings of a cracking series and one which I think India might just sneak.

Re: Cricket: India vs Australia ODI Series & Twenty20 International 6pts M.Hayden Top Australia Series Bat 5/2 Boylesports Matthew Hayden is a very big price at 5/2 to top the Aussie run charts in this series. 1st of all there's no Ponting for at least half of this series and secondly, Hayden is without doubt the best batsman in one day cricket right now. He showed his class in South Africa when he topped the overall run chart in the World Twenty20 and will arrive in India full in confidence. Nothing is likely to phase Hayden with his supreme ability and belief and I very much like the big Queenslander's chances of top scoring for Australia in this series.
