blimey no naps yet, here's mine 5.30 ART MODERN EW not many in here stand a chance but if Art Modern shows anything like previous form, has an obvious chance at decent value. Hasnt ran in this class since August last year when 1/2L 2nd at Newmarket. Since then, won twice on the AW in the spring, then 4th in a decent handicap at Newbury. The runs since have been in higher class races & much more expected today. At 11/1 represents a decent EW bet.

Re: Daily Naps - Sunday 16/09 Esteem Machine 2.35 Goodwood (WIN) Only two 3 yr olds have won this race in the last 10 years but I expect it to be 3 after this race. Esteem Machine is one of only 2 three year olds in the race but has being progressing nicely and went in the PL notebook as one to follow after its last run where it made all in a class 4 race on soft ground. It has placed on good to firm and won on good so seems quite versatile regarding the going. Steps up to class 2 today but against mainly older handicappers that are out of form. Mac Gille Eoin could be the main danger and has course and distance form at class 4 level and is the other 3 yr old in the race. Dianes Choice just managed to get up last time out in a class 2 race on the all weather and could go close. Esteem Machine has consistency at class 4 level and needs to improve today which it looks more than capable of.

Re: Daily Naps - Sunday 16/09 3.10 Curragh New Approach 1 pt win. This looks a high class race with the likes of New Approach, Myboycharlie and Rio de la Plata not to mention the potentially exciting Famous Name. However New Approach stands out for me. Trainer is in great form and New Approach has got better and better as the season has gone on and LTO won in some style in the Phoenex and even though that form might not turn out to be special, I think its tough front running style will be tough to beat today.

Re: Daily Naps - Sunday 16/09 Was in agreement on New Approach and just had the 20 on it:

Also lost on my NAP but backed the winner at what I felt was a massive price on Betfair:

17.5 for the win on Mac Gille Eoin and 4.50 for the place. Really thought Esteem Machine would win today but certainly will soon enough.
