Guest TheTrebleKing Posted September 9, 2004 Share Posted September 9, 2004 Chasm, 2:15 Epsom dam and sire nothing special, but the bloodline is generally good. grandsire: Mr Prospector (USA)(8.7f) top-class US dirt runner, very good sire, can get high-class 2yos but progeny usually progress well. damsire: Darshaan (11.6f) no info avail on this 1, but comes from strong bloodline, sired by Shirley heights, a french derby winner who can produce top class 7f 2yo's. so there is the smell of top class in this horses pedigree, but priced at 5/2 its not exactly value, the favourite Goodwood Spirit i feel needs blinkers, seems hesitant to run up-front and doesn't display a good enough turn of foot to stay on well enough at the end. so i'll go for the forecast on this 1, Chasm to beat Goodwood Spirit. £50 S/FC Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
