Equinoxx's Madden System

Hi all, I was playing the new version of Madden NFL on the Wii the other day and thought I would do a system thread on here using the results that are generated on the 'Franchise Mode' in the game. All the fixtures in each week are accurate to the NFL season so I thought that, each week, I will do a goliath bet using the scores made by in the game. This is a paper trail system and only done for fun. I am going to spend 12.35pts (0.05pts per line) a week and see how well it works. If, by the sixth week, it doesn't seem to be working I will abort this experiment. Here are a list of the results for week one: New Orleans 34 Indianapolis 28* Denver 17 Buffalo 30 Pittsburgh 0 Cleveland 3 Philadelphia 9 Green Bay 27 Kansas City 17 Houston 7 Tennessee 20 Jacksonville 17 Atlanta 22 Minnesota 10 New England 17 NY Jets 34 Carolina 19 St. Louis 42 Miami 24 Washington 17 Detroit 17 Oakland 23 Chicago 23 San Diego 43 Tampa Bay 17 Seattle 10 NY Giants 3 Dallas 27 Baltimore 17 Cincinatti 10 Arizona 14 San Francisco 20 (*This result was not generated by a computer but by my own play. I had the game tied at 28-28 and missed the opportunity to score a field goal in the latter part of the game so it could have been an Indy win of 31-28. because of this I decided to not bet on the winner/loser of the game but rather on points) As you can see, there are some dodgy results here. I picked the following selections for the goliath: 1) Carolina @ St Louis to have over 42.5 points 10/11 2) Miami to win with a 3 point head-start 10/11 3) San Diego to win with -6 point handicap 10/11 4) Dallas to win with -6 handicap 10/11 5) San Francisco -3 handicap 5/6 6) Indianapolis to score more than 29 points against New Orleans 5/6 7) Green Bay to score more than 20 points against Philadelphia 5/6 8) New England vs NY Jets to have over 41 points 10/11 (All odds from Blue Square) Like I mentioned earlier - this is just an experiment to see how closely the results in the game reflect the actual scores. I'll be back next week with the results and forecasts for Week Two.
