Daily Selections :ok Cheery Cat 3.50 Catterick Model of consistency over this sort of trip, albeit at a slightly lower level (class 5/class6) and formline reads 134413. Not beaten far last time out at this course and was running under a 6lb penalty. Also finished 2nd here back in June. Has won over 7f and was driven out to win well over a stiff 6f at Pontefract. Not one to lump on but worth a small win bet due to its consistency and likely to get a good run for your money. Course form could be crucial but is now above highest ever winning mark in a race that doesn't look the strongest on paper. Black Mogul 5.20 Catterick Has run like a dog for most of its career and was more likely to go to the glue factory than back to the race track but if ever a horse improved for the fitting of blinkers then this was it. Form read 6th, 9th, 12th and 11th, all in class 6 races. Dropped into a class 6 claimer and was 2nd by 2 1/2 lengths over 1m2f with blinkers on for 1st time. Ran in a class 5 handicap last time out (in blinkers) over 1m4f on good to soft and ran with credit before weakening over 1f out and was beaten 11 lengths into 3rd. Should have a chance in this class 6 handicap on better ground and could be worth some ew money with expected SP of around 6-1 and has blinkers on today.
