Daglashen
One month before the clash with Spain, Greece travels to Slovakia for a friendly match. Coach Otto Rehagel would like to test different tactics, however this is very difficult due to many missing players. Strikers Liberopoulos (Panathinaikos), Nikolaidis (AEK) and defenders Goumas, Kirgiakos (Panathinaikos), Patsatzoglou (Olympiakos) are not going to play. Midfielder Basinas (Panathinaikos) and defender Seitaridis (Panathinaikos) are returning from injury. On the other hand, the Slovakian coach is happy to see his defender Grecko (Blackburn) coming back to play for the national team after 7 months. However Slovakia will miss injured Laitner (Teplice), Bucheck (Xanthi), Kozlei (Olympiakos Limassol) and Zeman (Vitesse). One interesting fact is that from the 18 players in the Slovakian team, only 3 play in the national league. In my opinion Greece has more quality as a team than Slovakia, but due to the many absenses and the friendly spirit of the game, I would go for the draw in this match. Good luck with your picks! :hat
Guest mattsthebest
Re: Slovakia-Greece What do you think about Under 2.5 in this match? Would Greece usually play defensively? Any thoughts please.
Daglashen
Re: Slovakia-Greece Why not? I think a 0-0, or 1-1 to be the most probable results.
