Few reasons why. The yanks are the best, current World Champs, Unbeaten in tourn so far, home support. edtkh Posted October 13, 2003 Share Posted October 13, 2003 Germany Not sure if they're hot girls, mate! :rollin They're definitely a team on a roll though and anything priced at 2/3 is certainly massive for a side that has just eliminated arguably the finest international women's squad ever assembled in the semis against the USA - and they did the hosts(led by Mia Hamm) in 3-0 convincingly. :b Perhaps, a point to note - Sweden qualified for the quarters after coming through the group phase with 2 wins and a defeat(against the host, USA, which had 3 wins) and when you consider how convincingly Germany beat the USA, they should have more than a decent chance of beating Sweden(even if it's gonna be a close contest). :b As I write, the match is 0-1 to Sweden and pretty decent prices are available on Betfair for a German win. :smokin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
