bowles10
in here please 2.40 York - Prospect court is in the form of its lefe & there was much to like about its both recent wins on hvy ground at Bev & Newcastle. Form franked again yesterday & although York will be another test, current odds of 5/2 look a decent favourites bet.
cc75
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 4.00 Ascot: Moonlight Man Been sliding down the weights recently and looked like regaining some form and fitness LTO. Has won from a mark of 90 in the past so could prove to be a handicap snip as there could be a bit more in the tank this time out from a mark of 85 under favoured conditions. WIN NAP
Falbrav
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 Skhilling Spirit 3.50 York. A different horse when getting his ground and he's got it today. Has the ability to go well in context and so if running to that ability should therefore go well over a trip that's his optimum in my opinion. Looks a fair bet at around 8.6 betfair. 1 point on the nose.
Woodie
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 5.10 Apex (nap) Handicapper looked to of caught up with Apex lto before that ran up a 4 timer would of been 5 but was thrown out at Southwell. Back down in class today and Hadden Frost gets back on Apex who has basically raced 5 times on him won 5. Jockey takes of 7lbs and looks like he's been given another chance for another win today by the handicapper. The ground is no worries as has all best form on firm going. 7/2 nice price. writeups
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 48th John Smith's Cup (Heritage Handicap) - 15.15PM - Nap Sir Micheal Stoute i think has shrewdly place Greek Well spot on for the John Smiths Cup, has won two on the spin with the last one coming at Sandown over an extended mile and a quarter in good ground beating Brief Goodbye by a head off a mark of 91, the prior win also came at Sandown when beating Le Soleil over the same trip by three lengths again on good ground, the worry is that he has never run on anything better than good ground, but if the tactics can be played that they get William on the front end and use his claim and stamina to go for home from the quarter mile pole this should have this in the bag as they are dropping back in trip by quarter of a mile and on this ground stamina looks the key. Suitable Ground : Good Jockey % at track : 0.00% / -£3.00 Trainer % at track : 25.00% / +£40.54 Combo % at track : 1st ride for trainer. BillyHills
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 215 Ascot : Baffled Ran third in the Albany which sticks out like a sore thumb here, entered up in Group 1 races and this is a Class 4 race. Spencer takes over from Frankie and hopefully that will not stop this one winning.
WoodyTHFC
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 York 3.15 Smart Instinct 0.5 pt e.w nap There must be considerable doubts about so many of these in the conditions and the trip. Smart Instinct is unproven at the trip but was staying on at a mile on its last start so that should not prove as much of a problem. It also does have form on softer ground as a two year old and also its form has been boosted this week by the exploits of Shmookh and Tybalt so worth a chance in a competitive race. dontbegreat
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 14-Jul 8:05 Sali Cape Hawk TS & RPR system selection. Not bothered to NAP the previous runners racing the 3yo only handicaps from the TS system since the win of The Grey Berry (July 7th). Following selections both won - King's Apostle and Rosbay. Those three runners combined for a profit of 11 pts - 2/1, 6/1, 3/1 winners. Overall, it falls in the catgory of 3yo only Hc for the TS system. Opened 9/2 at bet365 and betfred - currently as low as 5/2 with stanjames.
mowgli77
Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 Tibouchina 8.35 Salisbury (WIN NAP) Local trainer R Beckett has had 2 winners from 2 handicappers out this season and has had 4/6 when Sanders has taken the ride. Last 3 races have seen a formline of 112 and that includes firm ground (good to firm tonight). Up 7lb from last win but only 1lb from it's last run when carrying a 6lb penalty and only just lost by 1/2 a length. Was eased when winning off 63 and won by 6 lengths but that form a bit suspect.
