gazzyg Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 Can I ask why I was subjected to an abusive and inaccurate rant from Stewartd14, on opening a meeting thread with the politest of his advice being, “If you are going to open up a daily meeting thread at least put some tips.â€<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> From what I’ve seen Carl, Mowgli, Russ all open meeting threads each and every day with a simple â€tips here lads†or a simple :ok or even nothing at all. I’ve had a short light hearted banter with TheBoyRooney over his inside info horse and I’m sure he’d say it was nothing more than that, ranging from his jokes about the hope getting us through the weekends punting to jockeys eating their own balls if it loses….heh it might and that’ll be OK as he’s a good lad with good intentions. I’ve certainly not begged him for info or pestered him with PM’s or anything. The dreaded inside info was asked to be put into a daily thread…. where was he to put it if one didn’t exist?….so I’ve opened 2 with the crime of making a joke. As Bowles always quotes we have a common enemy but, as has happened several times lately, guys on here are all too ready to jump down the throats of others with abuse. :sad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
