Tour de France Stage 2 (Mon 9th July)

Stage 2: Dunkirk - Gent. Odds-comparison haven't got prices up yet but most of the UK books have priced up. I'll start us off. 5pts T.Boonen to win Stage 2 4/1 William Hill Tom Boonen came 3rd in the 1st stage which went through the streets of Kent but with the tour hitting his home country he'll be aiming to be at the head of the field to snatch a success in his home country. Robbie McEwen is currently the green jersey holder but a good stage here for the Belgian could see him claim the shirt before the start of stage 3. I'm sure Boonen's Quick Step team will do all they can to work their man into a position to claim a home stage win and at 4/1 we are getting decent odds. McEwen and the Norwegian Thor Hushovd are live dangers but I'll take the home cyclist to pick up this stage win.
