Good strong field this week :) JIM FURYK @ 12/1 E/W Stan James Surely he has got to win soon, two runner up finishes in last few starts, bit unlucky in both & strong performance last week as well at Buick Open finishing right up there. Looks like a challenging course this week which will suit steady Jimmy who has wonderful patience & termperment, was 5th in 1997 US Open here, long time ago but must be a small plus if anything. Solid e/w, you know what you gonna get, a very consistant performance. A few longshots that could go well, well one did win last week! NICK O'HERN @ 66/1 General Very unlucky not to win in Asia early this year, Goosen eagled the last hole to steal the title from him, O'hern never won before in Europe or USA but he is very steady golfer. Was 3rd at Travelers Championship two weeks ago where he had a great chance. He has had 9 top 10s in 50 starts on PGA Tour, 24 in world ranking which shows how consistant he is despite no wins, 21st on scoring average. ANTHONY KIM @ 66/1 William Hill Very impressive young talent, only in his early 20s, four top 10s this year & got a amazing under par 67 round on final day of US Open a few weeks ago!. Two 5ths & a third this year & last four starts have been very solid as well, doesn't miss cuts that often, not played for few weeks so rested & fresh mind is a positive here. Big things are expected of him. STEVE MARINO @ 100/1 General 4 top 10s in only 21 events on PGA Tour so already making a decent impression. Finished 13th & 10th in the last two weeks so in contention & getting used to it for a young talent. And what about this for an owen, he was 6th in the AT & T Classic only a few weeks ago (this is also AT & T Sponsored here!!) JASON GORE 125/1 General Only one top 10 this year & that was last week at Buick Open where he was so unlucky not to get in playoff (Bateman birdled 12ft putt to win on last hole!) Gore finished 2nd & had rounds of 66 & 67 on two of the days, but he finished tied 15th at the Memorial in very strong field last month & creditable 23rd at the Players in May, it seems his form is slowly coming together now.
