Re: Carlisle 27/06 3.00 Carlisle Consolation race for the Carlisle Bell, 1m handicap with 14 runners, Class 5 and 4 last time out winners. However, I think these will go off at false prices and are all opposable with: Lago D'Orta (RPF 14/1) - 1 of 2 runners for Dandy, and I'm favouring this horse, joint top weight. Carlisle is a track that suits horses coming from off the pace and that fits this horses profile perfectly. At its best, is a Listed winner but now campaigned in its lowest ever grade (except its maiden debut) of Class 5, and career low mark of 75. Ran well here last term in the Carlisle Bell when completely missing the break and was poorly drawn but finished best of those drawn low. Much better drawn today, and showed signs of return to form lto when behind Flipando at Beverley in Class 3, hampered when producing its run. 2lb lower today too, and conditions suit, 1m on good ground. At double figure odds, well worth some EW money.
