Re: Royal Ascot ~ 20/06/07 Few small ew's for me. Not overly confident but the good Group races look really hard to call, especially the 3.45 race. Arabian Gleam 2.30 Has only got maiden experience but very impressive last time out and trainer has a good record in this race. Massive jump in class to a Group 3 but interesting that Dettori gets the ride. Low draw might be a disadvantage but at an expected SP of around 16-1 it's worth a small ew bet for a trainer in good form. European Dream 4.20 Looks quite high in the weights but has a good draw (22/30) and goes on all sorts of ground. Won really well last time out and likes to be delivered late off a strong pace, which there should definitely be today. Trends from the last 10 years indicate the winner usually carries less than 9 stone, ruling out many at the top of the handicap and this horse carries 8-12. Currently available at 25-1 with Blue Square. In Safe Hands 5.30 Ascot Certainly in safe hands under Mick Kinane but unsure if drop back to 1m will suit after being 2nd last time out over 10f. Favourites don't have a good record in this race and I think Italian Girl will be the main danger. Placed on good to firm, won on good and placed at listed level. Available at around 14-1 and some of the market leaders look very overrated.
