Re: Perth 10/6 Ok, going down to Perth today. My specialist and local track so I will try to give you a few winners. Looks a tough card but we shall see. 2.20 The card starts off with a mighty tough Novices hurdle. I, personally, am ruling out the favourite. Jockey is a negative and it is far too short for me considering the competition. Even discounting the favourite I have narrowed it down to 4. Baileys Encore - An Irish raider that ran well when he came across here last time. He ran a good second over 3 miles here in a better class race and has to be respected. On ratings he is very well in and has to be considered. A capable jockey that loves the course are also positives. Spivitus - A good EW shot IMO. Improved for his 2nd run last time when running well behind the capable Bouncing King. At a tasty forecast of 10/1 he may go close but he will need to improve again. Glen Rouge - Nicky Richards takes this inmate to his local track today hoping to pick up this little race. On bare fore he should probable struggle in this race but he ran ok in a better class race last time. Although he was well beat, that was his seasonal debut and he will improve for that. Bold Pioneer - For me, the class horse in the race. He has racked up two nice wins at Cartmel recently and he looks a rapidly improving type. Personally, I think he may well go onto much better things and I think Bold Pioneer is the likely winner. Penalty will be a hindrance but Perth is an easy track and it should not stop him too much. Will decide which ones to back when I see the odds.
