Rant about internet poker rooms that fail to plan ahead

I've never had a rant on PL before. Time I broke my duck. This rant is inspired by some recent and not so recent happenings. This rant is not about anything that has happened to me. 1. Poker Rooms often run promotions for things such as WSOP seats, Magazine freeroll series, trips to exotic places, sporting events, etc. 2. Such promotions often run over a period of time, sometimes over many months. 3. They tend to all have a fixed end date following which the grand prize is awarded. 4. The Poker Rooms know what this date is. 5. Ffs, surely it is not beyond the wit of man/woman to preplan the actions that will need to be undertaken when that date is reached. 6. Leaving the winners hanging around unsure of what they've won and what they should do next is unacceptable. 7. Poker Rooms that can't get this simple bit of project management right are not deserving of our business. Rant over.
