Bet365 was among the first to release the odds for this game and they gave odds for Koper, that simply can't be overseen. 3.50 for a team that is showing best form in the league & cup (even more) is a must take imo. Let's suply some facts ... Koper is 6-0-1 in their last 7 games (5 champ + 2 cup games). I'm not counting the last defeat @Primorje, where they played with the reserve team (but lost "only" 1-2 vs a motivated opponent) Maribor won at Nafta (4-0) defeating a miserable Nafta team, that gave up immediately after the early set back and not using 2 gteay chances. Later Maribor played a wise game and showed some fast counters when they scored. However this one game is not showing the real situation of Maribor. Before this game they lined up a 1-2-2 series and knowing how important those games were for the UEFA cup, it just shows how difficult they have been doing... The situation in the club is quite serious and the cup is like the season's scapegoat. They managed to outcounter Gorica in the semies (away) and then drew at home, but this time they can't just wait for the counters as they play ib Styria and very close to their home and therefore the chances for Koper to score are very high. Koper on the other hand found their game in the second part of the championship, but threw it all away in the first part (when their Boss Mandaric wanted to give up on them several times), so the present high level games will have to be wrapped up with the cup winning imo. Koper showed already in semies vs the home team of today's place of the game (Celje), they like this pitch (3-1), whereas Maribor lost their last game 1-4 in Celje. (simply info as I know it's not the ultimate reason...) Koper won their last year's cup final at the same pitch and vs the home team, so no big importance that Maribor is playing near home! Mandaric, Koper's wealthy boss will be present (same as last year) and it's a good omen for Koper (usually)... Only hope that it will all be up to the players and not to some secondary reason like the refs or bad weather (possible showers...) All in all the oods are too good for Koper and I'm with them.
