Re: Top quality live poker this weekend with Betfair Hey guys, Yeah it is me, well spotted ;) I was in Estonia last week playing in the Baltic Championships. Anyway, I got knocked out of the tourney, so went back to my hotel and saw a $250 satellite to the Betfair Poker Masters, with 2 seats guaranteed. So I thought I'd give it a go. 4 and a half hours later I was victorious! :loon Not bad considering I won a WSOP main event seat the week previous! I'll be travelling to London sometime tomorrow, and then my heat is on Saturday afternoon. If anyone is in the area, then feel free to come down and watch. Really looking forward to it, but I'm not too keen on my table. Some really tough names on it!

Re: Top quality live poker this weekend with Betfair looool @ that pic, mcfc :lol Anyway, here's the post I posted on the Betfair forum: - Out in 3rd. Was going well, when the short stack moved all in on my bb, I call with A5, he has Kx. Flop comes K-high and he doubles up, otherwise it would have been me and Thorson heads up with me edging it in term of chip stacks. Another key hand came after I had been bursting for the toilet for 20 mins +! I had another 10 mins to wait for a break, and it was touch and go whether I'd make it, so I was kind of desperate! I raise from the sb with Ad8d, Thorson pushes all in, I have him covered by about 50k and call. Maybe the wrong move in hindsight, but my bladder was controlling my mind! He turns over AJ. The flop brought two diamonds, but the turn and river were bricks. This led to me going all in virtually every hand, and got up to appx 110k, before pushing all-in from the sb with 10d 2d. Thorson calls with Kx. The flop again brings 2 diamonds, but again the turn and the river fail to save me sad.gif That left Thorson and Moor to battle it out for 1st place. The heads up battle lasted all of one hand, I'm unsure of the hands, but Thorson ended up the deserved winner. I think I played well overall, but it could have been different if it wasn't for the A8 call sad.gif
