Walter Swinburn's charge led over a furlong out and ran on well to win by a length and a half at Newbury last month and should prove too strong for Charlie Cool and Royal Oath.

2.30 Newmarket: PAPAL BULL

Old Sniffy does well at Newmarket and reports are that Papal Bull has been training well. Sixties Icon usually needs a run out first so our tentative vote goes to Old Sniffy's raider. 3.10 Newmarket 1000 Guineas FINSCEAL BEO Outstanding form last season with victories in the PrixMarcel Boussac and Rock-fel Stakes last autumn. Sander Camillo and Yaqeen will make sure the favourite won't have it all her own way while Richard Hannon's stable believe they have a good chance of breaking their 1000 Guineas duck with Indian Ink and Selinka. But the Irish raider looks a cut above the rest. 3.45 Newmarket: TAX FREE 3rd in this last year from a poor draw this should be easier with being a smaller field. Easy win LTO beating Bond City, Celtic Mill and Tabaret. Clearly the one to beat and should batter this lot.
