Always nice to get a deeper insight. Another question - why the flat call on the turn? Were you trying to give him some rope to hang himself with so that he'd put more chips in? I've tried to re-work my whole game and start again. if you don't mind me asking...when did you decide to go up the levels' date=' did you hit any particular targets? or did you just go for it.[/quote'] i don't think its black and white, as regard to stack size. i just moved if i was comfy i stayed, i moved very quickly but felt comfortable doing it. right now i play 5/10, 10/20, 25/50 depending on my mood. i would always advise dipping your feet into the next level ( even with a shortish stack to get used to it and cut the losses), but as i said if you dont feel right go back down. remember no matter what level you are playing at you need to have a winning game , no point moving up if you hav'nt this is just my opinion though as it worked for me. Aggression' date=' read, etc.[/quote'] good question, i think my main strength is bottle, but you have to take everything into account. gut instinct is another important quality some are good and some bad, i think i get a good feel once i'm settled at a table also aggresive but not too aggresive i think is very important. you can defo sense the weak players at this level, so turning up the heat with large bets is key if i think of anything else i will post it, cant think clearly at the moment its always like that after a session. Everytime I play I always consider myself too timid and I try to compensate for it with aggression in the wrong places.
