To celebrate the arrival of the brand new Betfair Poker Plus software, we're delighted to bring you an extraordinary schedule of promotions running throughout May! Over $50,000 in bounties and added cash will filter it's way into the Betfair accounts of hundreds of you plucky poker players as Betfair Poker celebrates it's latest phase of development! So what's coming up? PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT Running: Friday May 4th and then every Tuesday in May starting from 7th onwards... We are challenging you to play your cards right in up to three poker tourneys at the same time. The incentive? A cool $2,000 added to the prize pool of each tournament! If that's not enough, the top ten average finishers (across the weekly tri-tournament setup) will share in a further prize pool of $1,000! Weekly Top Average Players This will be calculated as an average of your finishing positions over the three tournaments. For example, this may be: Tournament 1 = 15th place finish Tournament 2 = 6th place finish Tournament 3 = 39th place finish Average = 20th place Weekly $1,000 Payout: First: $450 Second: $250 Third: $150 Fourth: $100 Fifth: $50 Please note: Players who do not participate in all three tournaments will be unlikely to benefit from this part of the promotion as non-participation in any of the three tournaments will be considered to have finished in last position. BEAT THE BUZZER Running: Wednesday May 16th - Sunday 20th Betfair Poker Sponsored Pro, Thomas "Buzzer" Bihl, is arguably the World's most prolific Sit and Go player. The German supremo has been known to play over 250 Sit and Gos in the same day, sometimes with more than 12 running at the same time! Just watching him do it is spectacular and remember, these are normally all $100+ tourneys! So we thought that we'd set you a challenge… to Beat the Buzzer! Between Wednesday 16th and Tuesday 20th, he'll be multi-tabling on Betfair Poker between 7pm and 9pm with a tasty bounty for any player that knocks him out! Each day he'll play around 40 Sit and Gos in the two hour period at all stakes ranging from $2.50 right up to $400! Just sit down at the same table as him, knock him out and the bounty is yours!

IT'S A KNOCKOUT Running: Thursday May 3rd between 7 - 11pm We love a good bounty tournament here at Betfair HQ and the release of Betfair Poker Plus on April 30th seems a great opportunity to sneak one or two into the schedule! In fact, this release is so significant in our development that we're going to host THREE of these banter-fuelled bonanzas. What's the deal then? On Thursday May 3rd there will be three "It's a knockout" tournaments kicking off at 7:00, 7:15 and 7:30pm (UK Time). You're more than welcome to play in all of them at the same time if you wish and these are no average tourneys, we assure you. The likes of Bengt Sonnert, Ben Grundy, Buzzer, Ben Fried (Head of Poker) will be amongst the bounties up for grabs. Just knock them out of the tournament to claim your prize. There will be the same nine bounty players in each of the three tourneys representing Team Betfair, all separated into levels of their raw poker talent with bounties to match.
