Reasoning	House Maiden is an improving horse and I believe offers suitable opposition for Cape Velvet. I also like the look of Blackmalkin and feel that Brittain's horses in maidens seem to go well when placed correctly - again enough of a reason to oppose. Fitness is an issues for all these horses today as none raced relatively recently.
