Now however Simon’s going back to grass roots and he could be coming to a card room near you soon. As part of the DTD Grass Roots Poker Tour, Simon will be playing in small stakes tournaments around the UK, in many venues he’ll be joined by a fellow DTD professional player. It’s a perfect chance to pick Simon and other pros brains for everything from tips on bankroll management to hearing tales about life on the EPT circuit. Simon, says: “I’ve come a long crazy way since I took part in my first £20 tournament but it’s at these small games that all professional players learn their trade. I’m looking forward to seeing how the landscape has changed since I last played at these levels.†The Grass Roots Tour will kick off In Simon’s hometown of Nottingham at the Nottingham Gala £20 re-buy tournament on the 28th March. Some of the places on the tour are Liverpool, Bournemouth, Brighton, Hull and Sheffield.
