Uttoxeter 2.45, Ange de Villez, rpf 5/2 Has failed to complete in 3/3 UK chase starts, with several mistakes and blunders along the way. Been off for 107 days which could mean he's trained on, but could also mean he's not fully race fit and is out for a reasonably no stress ride to complete the course. Green 'n 'Gold is the only one that's run recently, and has a good record at Uttoxeter, looks a live contender off bottom weight. The others could be pretty much anything so I see 5/2 as a worthwhile lay price.

Re: Saturday - Lay Of The Day Ascot 305: Always Waining (5/2) Up aginst it here with Boychuck in opposition and if something did happen to the fav i'm not sure this horse would beat Gentleman Jimmy anyway, a definite lay at these odds although i suspect it will be a tad bigger come off time.
