Re: Curling, World Women's Championships 2007 China to win (3.20 @ Centrebet) China played two matches today. They have easily won against Czech Republic 7:3 and narrowl lost to Canada 5:6. Canada has 8-0 at this championship and they were big favorites against China. China surprised them and outplayed them until the 8th end, when Canada stole two stones and took 5:4 lead. In last two ends Canada controlled the match and won 6:5. Moreover, China had the 4:2 lead after the 5th end and it was the first time on the tournament that Canada was behind after the first half. USA also played two matches today. They have easily lost to Scotland 12:6 and won against Germany 8:7. They didn't have any chances against Scotland and they showed some strenght only in first 5 ends. Germany is 2-6 in this tournament and they had the +5 lead against USA and had a chance to win. German's skipper had the opportunity to win with the last stone, but her stone hit some debris on the ice and skidded away, thus bringging victory to USA. USA are 4th at the moment with 5-3 and China is 5th with 4-4. They had some similar results until now and China was in much better form today. Odds at 3.20 are very generous.
