Interblock with full squad, meaning all the "stars" playing and Drava with two wins an Spring = HW! Drava quite luckily got their two wins at Primorje and vs Nafta so it's paytime now. Interblock with more quality and motivation after the two losses needs a win to start climbing and Drava is the right opponent ! FeriB Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Re: Slovenia Prva Liga (Mar 17-18) Maribor - Gorica DRAW @3.10 sportingbet (@3.20 various) Maribor not the best home team with a record of 5-5-1__18-11 and Gorica on the other hand 1-6-4__11-18 showing they don't lose so easily. But that's only statistics and even though it has to be taken into account there are some other facts imo more relevant for the game today. Gorica started the Spring with a 0-4 loss in Domzale, but almost 70' held the draw with some scoring chances and a good game. Then they remained with ten men and were outcountered after that. In the second round they managed to bring in a quite lucky 3-2 HW over the star team of INterblock (3-2) and showing character there. Maribor on the other hand started with a 2-2 draw vs Celje and were much lucky at the end not to lose it. Then they lost 0-3 at the same place as Gorica in the 1st round and they deserved the 0-3 as not showing any kind of a mature game. OK it's the start of the championship and there are still some heavy legs, but I surely expected more from a team prepared by Pusnik. Now there're no more excuses by Maribor and they have to go fully into this game and I believe they can get as much as a point exactly and not more. Gorica is in a better shape, but I'm sure they'll be satisfied with a point as Maribor is still a place of respect and also as Gorica has 1 win on away games.
