Michael Hourigan's multiple Grade 1 winner has never looked at ease on the undulating Cheltenham track, but with last week's news that War Of Attrition will not defend his title, Beef Or Salmon has attracted steady market support for the meeting's showpiece event. Now we all know about his very poor UK record BUT: 1, Its costing £25 grand to FLY it over for tomorrows race. 2, The optimum word is FLY.The other times it's come over has been by boat and no doubt 1 of the reasons it has run so bad over here. I personally wont be backing K.S and hope to have a good do on Exotic Dancer but at 22/1 for B.or.S its worth a good E/W(despite only 7 runners). Imagine the Irish if this went in:eek:eek:eek

Re: Beef Or Salmon Gold Cup chances. I mentioned travelling on the Cheltenham thread as it's preparations always seem to have it beat before the 1st fence is even jumped. Drying ground won't help it's chances but The Listener probably won't run which leaves Kauto Star and Exotic Dancer as main rivals. Kauto might do a Black Jack round here which would suggest Beef Or Salmon could be a good ew bet. :ok
