Re: Friday's E-W Fancies 09/02 4.15 Kempton : Supreme Copper (14/1) Trappy looking race but some value in there somewhere, rather than go on about this animal i'll just copy the last 3 comments from the form book; Oct 22nd Supreme Copper could muster only the one pace after making eyecatching headway to get into contention. He will be better suited by handicap company as he now qualifies for a mark. Nov 18th Supreme Copper could have done without yet another mistake three out, but he still turned for home 20 lengths clear of the rest before understandably getting tired. He can be regarded the third best horse in this race and is going to be interesting when given his chance in a handicap. Jan 2nd Supreme Copper travelled well and ran a lot better than his finishing position suggests. He will be well worth a second look when he drops into handicap company, possibly when stamina isn't at such a premium. Kempton should suit it down to the ground and the going wont be as testing as some he's experienced.
