Selections Here Please :ok Inquisitress 2.25 Lingfield (Each Way) Course and distance winner, won here off 66 rating, goes off 69 today but has a 3lb claimer on board (Amir Quinn) and he's a decent little claimer. Past winners of this race have carried 8-13, 8-10, 8-8, 9-4, 8-13, 8-9. Rarely do horses carrying over 9 stone win this race and the selection looks ideally weighted, carrying 8-12 today. Was 5th on 1st run this season and looked quite consistent before that with form of 1313. Needs to improve and get over that last run but is expected to be around 14-1 and with 8 runners paying 3 places it's worth a few quid. Super Frank 3.30 Lingfield (WIN) Super Frank/Secret Night (Rev FC) Loves it round here with 3 course and distance wins. Has won last 3 races and stepped up from class 6 to class 4. Won lto at class 4 level and was still running on well. Up in weight again but hard to oppose horses in such good form. Only ran 11 days ago so race fit, comments from last 3 races read: quickened, driven clear and stayed on strongly. The danger looks to be Secret Night and a small reverse forecast would be a decent covering bet.

Re: Lingfield 07/02/07 1.50.....First Friend (RPF 7/1) Decent return 2 weeks ago after a 2 month absence when 2L 5th over 12f at Kempton. Drop back down to 1m seems to be the right move here, and should go well for a horse that races prominently. Question marks are there to be asked about all its rivals, but 7/1 seems a great price to me. 3.00.....Cool Tiger (RPF 7/1) Trappy heat with fav RPF price of 4/1 in only a 10 runner race. This horse has won twice on its last 4 outings, albeit in banded company. This race is not any stronger than that, and with this extra furlong in its favour, should reach the frame.
