Linnie Posted January 15, 2007 Share Posted January 15, 2007 I went down on Friday to Crown Casino in Melbourne and its a really good set up down there now, the electronic tables are like playing online but with people infront of you, they are really easy to play and fast! Although you dont realise how long youve been playing for until you look at your watch and its morning already! Anyway, I was watching a few of the tournaments and there are a lot of pros coming down here to Australia which is great to see, I saw Erick Lindgren win a million but just missed out on seeing Phil Ivey! :cry Im going back down again this friday and hope to see some more pros, Joe Hachem in particular as he has breathed life back into poker for all us Aussies, he is a champion :ok So if anyone else is going I might see you there and take you on on the tables! Not sure I like the semi online poker system, I like the feel of the cards and watching how people handle their cards and chips. Yes it was a bit harder, I mean what can you look for now.. how fast they touch the screen? :lol Still, for someone who cant do intimidating chip tricks..
