PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up

Dear pl-GaF, As you know, our Sunday Million tournament is the best tournament in online poker. Every week, over 6,000 players from all over the world compete for more than a million dollars in cash, including a first prize of over $150,000. But we know that the Sunday Million schedule (starting at 16:30 Eastern Time) is hard on our European players, who find themselves playing until dawn, or even missing their train to work on Monday morning. So we have created the "Sunday Warm-Up" - a tournament that starts at 12:45 PM Eastern Time (17:45 GMT, 18:45 CET). If you make the final table of the Warm-Up, it will be a late night, but you will still get some sleep, and be in good shape to tell everybody at work about your big win. And now we are making your win bigger - we are guaranteeing a $250,000 prize pool in the Sunday Warm-Up, because we think our European friends should be able to play for a big prize pool without seeing the sun come up at the final table. You can win your way into this tournament by playing any of our regular Sunday Million satellites. Once the tournament finishes, simply unregister from the Sunday Million to get tournament dollars and then register to the Sunday Warm-Up and its $250,000 prize pool. It's that easy With the Sunday Warm-Up, the Million, and the Second Chance, you can have your pick of times - but the money is always great. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Re: Pokerstars Quarter Million Cash Guarantee for Europeans I played in this three weeks ago. I didn't play well or luckily and I was out soon after the first break. The "deep stacks" were rather deceptive. We started with 10k, but the blinds started at 40/80 and although blind levels were 15 minutes, they seemed to rise pretty steeply.

Re: Pokerstars Quarter Million Cash Guarantee for Europeans This is the link thread for the diary so I'll update it with the current details for the Sunday Warm up. Big increase in guarantee since this thread started. :ok PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up Sunday is the biggest day for major tournaments at PokerStars and the Sunday Warm-Up is the perfect way to begin. Every Sunday at 12:45 ET (17:45 GMT), PokerStars hosts a $750,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em event that promises to start the tournament day with a bang. The Sunday Warm-Up is the ideal event for players who live in European time zones, or who want an early start to their tournament day. You could be the first person every Sunday to win more than $75,000 before the work week even begins! If you don’t feel like putting up $215 to play, there are many ways to qualify for as little as $3. Click on "Tourney" and "Satellite" in the PokerStars game lobby and look for Sunday Warm-Up satellites - they are highlighted in purple and are easy to find.
