New Year Goals

No, this isn't a thread about 2007 resolutions, but yet another one of those pesky Lay 0-0/Back 1+ challenges. This type of bet was the most profitable for me last year (2006) so I thought I'd give it a go posting them on here (Been posting on the Betfair 1+ thread for a quite while). The premise behind the hunt is to start off with $500 and split it into 5 pools of $100. Each week I will aim to lay 0-0s, rolling over all winnings with each new bet. Provisionally, the format will be to take 1 game per week that can be backed for 1+ at 1.10, or 0-0 layed at 11s. The aim will be to do this for each of the 5 pools. However, I may opt to achieve this 10% growth by taking 2 games in a week with the same pool etc. Should I like a game having already achieved my goal with all 5 pools, I will still take it, knowing that I can 'cheat' a week's worth of accumulation. Being the start of 2007, I have a full 52 weeks to play with and have calculated where I should be at at the end of each week.

Wk # Target
1 $110.00
2 $121.00
3 $133.10
4 $146.41
5 $161.05
6 $177.16
7 $194.87
8 $214.36
9 $235.79
10 $259.37
...............
48 $9,701.72
49 $10,671.90
50 $11,739.09
51 $12,912.99
52 $14,204.29
Should I manage to get past week 10, I will fill in the rest. "Weeks" shall be counted as Tuesday-Monday, not only because Tuesday is the first day of 2007 but also because most league rounds end on a Monday, and European games often start on a Tuesday. First bets will be done tomorrow :ok
