Here's 5 reasons why: He went through a purple patch during the summer of last year and ended up boosting his rating from 59 to a high of 83. He struggled off the higher mark and as a result has seen his rating slip again and is now able to race off a winnable mark of 63 - 1lb lower than his C&D victory last season. The first 2 runs of the season have blown the cobwebs off fitness-wise and significantly, the subsequent runs have shown signs of a return to form. Last time out was particularly eyecatching, finishing 3rd of 17 in a Musselburgh handicap behind a potentially unexposed winner. He is a Course and Distance winner and is also well drawn in stall 2. Importantly, he has the early pace to take advantage of the good draw. The stable are in good form too having had 3 winners from their last 8 runners.
