Nhl 11-12/11

Two obvious playes for saturday: Philadelphia - Buffalo @1.85 [betsafe] *Can't see Philadelphia standing much of a chance here. They've lost 8 games out of last 10 and now they are also likely to miss Peter Forsberg (Flu) or atleast if he will play, he'll be out of shape. Flyers also lost three last home games although the opponents were nothing like unbeatable (NYI, Washington, Tampa) during which they were outscored 13-6. Now facing strong Buffalo they will be in big trouble, first encounter of the season which ended 9-1 for Buffalo sets the tone nicely. Only thing that makes me doubt a bit is Buffalo's goalie Biron who hasn't been exactly in top shape since replacing Miller (Miller is injured-day to day) but still there shouldn't be much to worry about as after all, it's bottom vs. top which for me makes these kind of odds crazy high :D Phoenix - San Jose @1.75 [Expekt] * This is the same kind of fixture as in the Flyers-Buffalo game: Bottom team at home facing a top notch team. Phoenix hasn't done so bad at home lately, won two out of last four. One win was against LA and another against Edmonton. I don't give much value to either one of those victories as Edmonton had a second goalie between the pipes (who playes next to nothing) and didn't even bother checking the LA game as their goaltending is surely known shaky and road games are a rollercoaster. In their last game Phoenix lost 0-1 to Dallas which seems like a ok result but they were outplayed shitless + Dallas has been struggling badly lately. San Jose on the other hand has won three in a row during which they've scored 13 goals so you could say that they've found the net pretty easily. Sharks coming of a 3-7 win over LA and can't see the outcome chancing here when they face the weak Coyotes, there's just way too big class difference and with San Jose playing like they've recently we can expect an easy win for the visitors. Good luck everybody :ok
